Board a
high-speed TGV train to Tours and visit the fairytale castle
of Chenonceau. Then drive along the banks of the River
Loire, seeing the great castle of Blois — scene of intrigue
and treachery in the 16th century, Royal Amboise Castle and
the imposing castle of Chambord. Return to Paris in time to
dine `a la carte this evening in one of a selected choice of

Travel
south by train to Provence, arrival in Avignon. Later visit
the Gothic Palais des Papes, built in the 14th century
and home to seven successive popes. Then continue to your

Begin the
day in Arles with a walking tour of the stunning Roman
remains. Experience the magic of the countryside with visits
to the medieval hilltop town of Les Baux and Van Gogh’s

Drive
through the glorious Provençal countryside to the historic
town of Aix-en-Provence with time at leisure to wander the
narrow streets and soak up the atmosphere. Continue to Nice
and check in to your deluxe hotel, located on the famous
Promenade des Anglais. This evening you are invited to a

Enjoy a
morning in Nice’s Old Town and colorful market. drive along
the famous Corniche Road towards glamorous Monte Carlo. See
the extravagant Palais Princier, the residence of the royal
family, and the magnificent 19th-century cathedral. Dine
this evening at the famous brasserie Café de Paris before
